Kishor Kadam is seen in the role of Rajdendra Karma in Bastar: The Naxal Story, which is now out on Zee5. The film features Adah Sharma in the lead role of IPS Neerja Madhavan. Rajendra Karma’s character promo is the latest to be unveiled by the makers. Here’s what he’s all about, and why did he get emotional in the promo unveiled…

Who is Rajendra Karma?

Rajendra Karma is the CM of Bastar in Chhattisgarh. He is someone who cares for his people, and is affected by the deaths happening under his watch. The CM is someone who does not shy away from expressing exactly what he feels.

What is he doing about it?

Karma understands that Bastar is now known thanks to the violence by the Maoists. He pleads to the people to understand what Bastar really is, but also asks for how long will the government keep quiet when the Maoists only take action through guns and bullets. 3215 villages in Bastar are threatened by the conflict in the area. Saving them is Karma’s first priority. Thus, he leaves for what he calls rally of change, and gathers all of Bastar for the same. Find out if he will be successful by watching the movie on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium.
