Varun Dhawan is still enjoying the success of his family entertainer Jugjugg Jeeyo, which is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. The latest news regarding Varun is that his next, titled Bawaal, has now wrapped its filming. 

“Humne macha diya hain har jaga BAWAAL! Wrapping up the film in Ajju Bhaiyya Style! Agla Bawaal hoga theatres mein 7 April 2023 ko,” the official Instagram handle of Nadiadwala Grandson wrote. They shared a video of the entire team celebrating the moment, with Varun Dhawan capturing them. The actor also shared the video on his personal Instagram handle. 

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who has written the movie’s story, posted a note on Instagram and talked about how the production went. “It was a very difficult shoot but when there are smiling faces it makes the director go on,” she said in the note.

She also thanked Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor and all the other actors who were a part of the movie and also thanked everyone in the other departments, who worked on the movie. The movie’s script is co-written by Piyush Gupta, Nikhil Mehrotra, Shreyas Jain, Ashwiny Iyer and Nitesh Tiwari. 

Bawaal started rolling in Lucknow back in April and the makers have also filmed in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Poland. The two stars have shared photos from the movie’s foreign legs, which caught the fans’ attention. 

Director Nitesh Tiwari’s last movie was Chhichhore in 2019. The movie, which received good reviews from the fans, is available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar. The director’s last directorial debut was documentary series Break Point. 

Janhvi Kapoor is currently enjoying the success of Good Luck Jerry, which is the Hindi remake of Nayanthara’s Kolamavu Kokila. The movie is available on Disney+ Hotstar.
