Bawaal trailer launch: Varun Dhawan says, ‘One of my best on-screen chemistries is with Janhvi Kapoor’

Woah! The trailer of Bawaal has been launched today with full pomp and fervour. Starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, the romantic drama film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Earthsky Pictures.

At the trailer launch event today held in Dubai, actor Varun Dhawan confessed that his best on-screen chemistry is with actress Janhvi Kapoor.

Sharing how he feels to be a part of this movie, Varun Dhawan says, “It feels wonderful to be a part of such a film. I genuinely want people to watch the trailer. I feel intrigued after watching it. A lot of times people have asked me how it feels to work with Janhvi Kapoor. Many people were curious to know how we looked together on screen. We both hail from different schools of acting and have come together under Nitish sir’s umbrella of works and teachings.”

“I think one of my best on-screen chemistries is with Janhvi. I hope to work again with her in the near future as well,” Varun concludes.

Seconds later, Varun asks Janhvi, who does she feel she has the best on-screen chemistry with. Replying to this question, Janhvi says, “You only.” Then Varun quickly adds that actor Rajkummar Rao might not like to know this, to which Janhvi responds, “Let the audience decide.”

Interestingly, after Bawaal, Janhvi will be seen next with actor Rajkummar Rao in a sports-drama film Mr and Mrs Mahi.

This development has not gone down well with superstar Alia Bhatt’s fans who often feel that Varun and Alia have the best on-screen chemistry. Alia and Varun have been a part of superhit films namely Student of the Year (2012), Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017) and Kalank (2019).

In July 2022, filmmaker Karan Johar had asked Alia about her best onscreen chemistry between Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh. To this, Alia had replied without a pause: Varun Dhawan.

Meanwhile, Bawaal is all set to be released on Amazon Prime Video on July 21.
