Bazooka box office collection day 6: Mammootty’s latest thriller was one of the most anticipated films, as the Malayalam megastar's film was releasing for Vishu after a long time. Though Deeno Dennis' directorial started on a solid note, the film has been seeing a downward trend with the day 6 collection dropping below the Rs 1 crore mark, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.
Bazooka, starring Mammotty along with Gautham Vasudev Menon, released in theatres on April 10, 2025, along with Naslen’s Alappuzha Gymkhana and Basil Joseph-starrer Maranamass. Though Bazooka benefited from initial hype and was off to a solid start, Naslen-led sports comedy soon overtook the Turbo star’s action-packed thriller.
Bazooka’s worldwide collections stand at Rs 19.4 crore. But the worrying trend is that the game thriller has seen a consistent drop over the past few days. Day 1 Malayalam net collections were at 3.2 crore, day 2 at 2.1 crore, day 3 at Rs 3 crore, day 4 - Rs 1.7 crore, day 5 - Rs 1.49 crore, day 6 – Rs 0.82 crore.
The film, a game thriller, secured mixed reviews upon its release, though the final act of around 20 minutes was hailed by viewers. The Mammotty-starrer would now be pinning its hopes on the long weekend starting Thursday.
On the other hand, Alappuzha Gymkhana has crossed Rs 30.5 crore in worldwide collections. The film, led by young actors, has received positive reviews and is performing well in centres, even outside Kerala.

The third Vishu release of April 10 was Maranamass, with Basil Joseph in the lead along with Rajesh Madhavan, Anishma Anilkumar, Suresh Krishna and Siju Sunny. The Jan. E. Man actor’s latest film also got mixed reviews upon its release but has been steady in its box office earnings. But the film is in the third spot with Rs 10.58 crore worldwide earnings.
The next major release is Asif Ali’s Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali on April 17, 2025. Asif Ali’s Rekhachithram was the first hit of Malayalam this year, and fans are hoping that he would be able to continue the winning streak at the box office.
