In less than a week, Mammootty’s much-anticipated film Bazooka hits theatres as a Vishu release on April 10, 2025. Fans have already started counting down for the big release, but they got a further boost as two exciting updates landed online. A suave picture of Mammootty surfaced online, while Iswarya Menon has promised that Bazooka will be a treat for Mammookka fans. Here’s everything you need to know about Bazooka as it cruises along for its big theatrical release this Vishu.
Mammootty fans were in for a treat on Thursday as a suave picture of the Malayalam megastar landed online, with the Bazooka star looking stylish as usual. Photographer Shani Shaki shared the picture on Instagram, that immediately caught the attention of fans. Mammotty, seen in the casual white t-shirt and blue jeans with a bandana, looked uber cool. Fans dropped fire emojis below the picture, while some pointed out that the septuagenarian actor seems to be ageing in reverse (a comment often associated with Mammootty).
Adding more excitement, Iswarya Menon, who is also a part of Bazooka, commented that the megastar looks amazing in the film.
“The film will be an adipoli treat for Mammookka fans,” she told media personnel. The short video of Iswarya is also doing the rounds on the internet now.

Bazooka, directed by Deeno Dennis, will hit theatres next Thursday, ahead of the Vishu festival. The Mammootty-starrer will be clashing with Naslen-led Alappuzha Gymkhana and Basil Joseph’s Maranamass. Fans are hoping that the Mammootty-starrer will emerge as the winner of the Vishu box office 2025, though there is much expectation on both Alappuzha Gymkhana and Maranamass.
On the other hand, Mohanlal’s Empuraan continues to be a strong presence at the Kerala box office even a week after its release and is already among the highest-grossing films from Mollywood. The Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial, which is the sequel to the 2019 hit Lucifer, released in theatres on March 27.
