Bazooka OTT partner locked: Mammootty and Deeno Dennis’ big-budget game-thriller is gearing up to drop on a streaming platform soon

Though Mammootty and debutant director Deeno Dennis’ game-thriller Bazooka failed to make waves at the box office after its theatrical release on April 10, the movie’s OTT release is still much awaited by the fans of the megastar.
We have now confirmed that the film’s producers have locked its OTT partner. The streaming rights of the big-budget movie, which also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon in a pivotal role, has been snapped up by Z5 (previously referred to as ZEE5), which will soon announce its OTT release date.
Where to watch Mammootty’s Bazooka on OTT
Bazooka, which also stars Hakim Shajahan of Pranaya Vilasam fame, Bramayugam star Siddharth Bharathan, Bhama Arun and Dinu Dennis, has Mammootty essaying the role of a forensic expert who is enlisted by a team of cops to track down a master gamer behind a series of heists across the state.

Bazooka marked Mammootty’s second release this year after Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse, which was helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. After the former’s OTT rights were bagged, sources from the team have also announced that discussions are ongoing for the makers of Dominic to close the OTT deal for the film as well.
Mammootty has also completed the shoot of Kalam Kaval, which is directed by Jithin K Jose and has the actor reportedly essaying the role of a serial killer. The movie also has Vinayakan in a pivotal role. The megastar is also set to resume the shoot of the much-anticipated Mahesh Narayanan film, which will have him share screen space with Mohanlal, Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil and Kunchacko Boban this month.
Reasons to watch Bazooka on OTT
While the concept of Deeno Dennis’ Bazooka was lauded, its execution was below par, according to critics and audiences. However, most of the viewers appreciated Mammootty’s performance in the film, especially the second half - where he does manage to salvage the film in its thrilling climax portions.
Meanwhile, Alappuzha Gymkhana, which also released along with Bazooka on April 10, will begin streaming on SonyLIV from June 13 onwards. The film will also be available on OTTplay Premium.
