Bazooka teaser release date: Mammootty and team drop a major update

Bazooka, the Mammootty starrer directed by newcomer Deeno Dennis, has been under production for a very long time. The shooting of the movie, touted to be a game thriller, was recently wrapped up in Kochi. Even though the makers of Bazooka dropped some exciting posters featuring Mammootty initially, there have been no official updates on the film for quite some time. However, the leading man finally put the speculations to rest today, by revealing the Bazooka teaser release date.

Mammootty who plays the central character in Bazooka, recently took to his official social media handles and dropped a major update on the film. “Bazooka Official Teaser Releasing On August 15th, 10 AM IST! Stay Tuned,” wrote the megastar, who also shared a brand-new poster of the highly anticipated project, on his official handles. The new update finally put an end to the speculations about the film being put on hold due to financial and production issues.

Bazooka to get an October 2024 release?

If the recent updates are to be believed, Bazooka is gearing up to hit the theatres across the globe, in October 2024. Even though the Deeno Dennis directorial was initially planned as an Onam 2024 special release, it was later postponed due to the delay in the filming. A small portion, featuring actor-director Gautham Vasudev Menon who plays a pivotal role in the film, was left to filmed. Director Deeno Dennis and his team were waiting for Gautham and Mammootty to wrap up their untitled upcoming project, to resume the shooting.

Mammootty is set to play the role of Vinod Menon, a former Military office and travel junkie, in the upcoming Deeno Dennis directorial. Gautham Vasudev Menon, on the other hand, is appearing in the role of Benjamin Joshua, in the film. Nimish Ravi and Roby Varghese Raj are the directors of photography. Midhun Mukundan composes the songs and the original score. Bazooka is bankrolled by the popular banner, Yoodle Films.
