BBK9: Divya Uruduga, Rakesh Adiga or Roopesh Shetty - who boasts a bigger fanbase?

The past couple of weeks has been rather interesting as far as Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 is concerned. The two back-to-back shockers, in the form of Sanya Iyer and Deepika Das' eliminations, have suddenly turned things dicey inside the house with viewers now left unsure of what to expect from the upcoming episodes. And as the remaining 11 contestants battle it out for the ultimate glory, the order of most favoured among the voters too is wavering with each passing week.

At this point, it is safe to say that Rakesh Adiga, Roopesh Shetty, and Divya Uruduga have their defined and ardent fan bases in the outside world and the continuous social media highlights just that. While Rakesh Adiga, the rapper/actor has his dedicated legion of supporters (collectively known as the 'RakeshTribe'), Roopesh Shetty's strong Mangaluru connect and the 'Mannina Maga' ethos has earned him his own set of fans who stand by him at every juncture. Divya Uruduga, who comes into the scheme of things as a bona fide 'veteran', has only risen in prominence since her stint in season 8 of Bigg Boss Kannada: so much so that reports suggest that she is arguably the most adored and favoured contestant among the audience. 

In a way, there's an unspoken competition waged between the fan clubs of each of these contestants at the moment. If Divya Uruduga carries the girl-next-door charm, Rakesh Adiga has gained popularity for his candour and sincerity. If Rakesh is regarded highly by his tribe for his competitive spirit, Divya and Roopesh Shetty are loved by their respective legions for being able to bare their hearts. Not very long ago, when Divya U got into a squabble with Rupesh Rajanna over a matter and the latter termed her a 'cry baby', her devoted fans came to her rescue almost immediately on social media to slam him. In Roopesh's case, fans not only won him the Bigg Boss Kannada OTT edition but have rescued him time and again from the elimination zone.

Could one of the three go on to win the show? Well, they certainly boast the chances but not without receiving stiff competition from the season's dark horses Aryavardhan Guruji, Arun Sagar, Vinod Gobbaragala, and also Rupesh Rajanna. Aryavardhan has flown under the radar since the OTT edition and has proven that he is highly capable of going all the way. Arun Sagar, who finished runner-up in the inaugural season of Bigg Boss Kannada, has endeared many with his quirks while Vinod Gobbaragala has proven his worth in the team tasks and was adjudged the first captain of the house. In the same vein, Rupesh Rajanna, who seemed one of the least favoured of the lot right from the start, has somehow managed to ward off multiple eliminations. Regardless, the drama is only beginning to unfold in the Bigg Boss Kannada OTT house!
