About the trailer

The 2:30-minute trailer shows a family of three who recently lost the matriarch and Nate’s wife and are now bonding with the busy dad. When Nate decides to go on a wild family trip in the Mopane jungles of South Africa, his plans get derailed after a deadly encounter with a man-hating predator. This high-octane action-thriller narrates the tale of a blood-thirsty lion who is on a revenge quest after seeing the illegal killings by poachers.

Plot/cast

A single father of two teenage daughters goes on an adventurous jungle safari in South Africa along with his family. Their trip turns awry when they have a chance encounter with a ferocious lion and the struggle for survival sets the tone of the movie.

Idris Elba, who is known for Finding Dory and The Suicide Squad, is leading the cast as a widowed father of two, Dr Nate Samuels. Iyana Halley plays the rebellious elder daughter, Meredith Samuels, and Leah Sava Jeffries plays the sensitive younger daughter Norah Samuels. The cast also features Sharlto Copley as Martin Battles, who is a wildlife biologist and Nate’s friend.
