Beast: ‘Thalapathy 65' first look poster unveiled

Sun Pictures has unveiled the first look poster of actor Vijay’s upcoming Tamil movie, titled Beast. The poster, released today, features Vijay in a cloud of smoke with a flying smoke grenade and a shotgun in his hand with the title written in a punchy metallic font. The poster was released commemorating the birthday of the lead actor, which falls tomorrow i.e. June 22.

Beast is touted to be an action thriller entertainer featuring Vijay in a mass role but, apparently, with an unconventional storyline. Apart from Vijay, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Sun Pictures announced the poster release on Sunday in a stylish video with a thumping background score and an interesting animation of a golden gun with golden bullets getting made graphically.

Vijay is currently one of the biggest stars in South India with back-to-back blockbusters including Mersal, Sarkar, Bigil, and Master. His hit streak has only increased the anticipation for Beast.

Beast marks Vijay’s first collaboration with director Nelson, who rose to fame with Nayanthara starrer Kolamaavu Kokila. Anirudh Ravichander will compose music for the film while Manoj Paramahamsa will be handling the cinematography.

Reportedly Beast will boast of several top-class action pieces to amp up the theatrical audience. Despite the pandemic, Master, which was released in theatres in January 2021, ended up becoming a blockbuster. Fans lined up outside theatres to watch their star and the response for Beast is expected to be no different. The first look poster is likely to open up speculations and rumours about the movie’s storyline.
