Beast: Upcoming Vijay and Pooja Hegde starrer completes 100 days of filming

The much-awaited Thalapathy Vijay starrer Beast has neared 100 days of filming completion. Director Nelson Dilipkumar posted a snap of the team having a joyous moment to themselves.

The post features the team of Beast including Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Nelson Dilipkumar and the supporting actors like Redin Kingsley, VTV Ganesh, Bjorn Surrao and Sunil Reddy among others. The team looks like they’re jamming to an upbeat rhythm where we get to see Vijay in the drummer's seat, Pooja carrying a mic and singing her heart out and the rest of the gang carrying their own musical instruments. Could this particular scenario be of relevance to one of the scenes in the movie? Guess we have to wait till the movie releases to find out.

Backed by Sun Pictures, Beast marks the first-time collaboration of Nelson Dilipkumar and Thalapathy Vijay. Billed as a gangster thriller, we earlier got to see three teaser posters of the movie that featured the Bigil star in a dashing avatar. One of them saw him wielding a machine gun.

For the past few months, filming for Beast was going at a brisk pace in and around Chennai. Certain pivotal scenes of the film were shot in Delhi some time back. Some of the overseas locations include Georgia, which turned out to be the first schedule of the movie’s filming around the month of April.

We can also find the relatability of the movie’s name Beast, in Vijay’s earlier movie Master. There, one of the tracks Vaathi Raid had the term in its lyrics ‘Beast Mode’.
