Beauty Queen and actress Stefy Patel makes her Kannada debut with Vasishta N. Simha’s ‘Love Li’

Vasishta N. Simha’s rather intense and rugged looked look in the first poster of Love Li has piqued the curiosity of the public. The Chethan Keshav directorial is billed a romantic thriller that derives its story from a true incident and also highlights social evils through the promising narrative: the makers of Love have brought former Femina Miss India beauty queen Stefy Patel on board as the female lead.

Stefy Patel, aside from her popularity as a pageant queen and model, has acted in the Telugu film Ninnu Thalachi alongside Vamsi Yakasiri. Love Li, on the other hand, will mark her Kannada debut and is likely to be a most challenging role of her budding acting career. Reportedly, Stefy’s character in the film will boast of not one but three different shades – that of a girlfriend, a wife, and then a mother – and the makers roped in the Jharkhand actress because they felt that she would fit the bill perfectly. The shooting of Love Li is set to begin on July 19 in Bengaluru.

Alongside, reports reveal that Stefy Patel also has multiple yet-to-be-released projects in the form of the Hindi film Hari Om Hari, Tamil film Border, and an untitled Chinese-English film.

Vasishta N. Simha’s association with his Love Li director Chethan Keshav dates back to the Mufti days, wherein the latter worked as an associate of director Narthan. A multi-hyphenated artist, Chethan Keshav is said to impressed Simha with his unique take on the real-life incident and how the elements of thriller and raw action are infused seamlessly into the script. To make things more special, Love Li features J. Anoop Seelin’s music so one could expect the film to be a thorough entertainer – Vasishta N. Simha and Anoop Seelin collaborated recently for a song in the Shiva Rajkumar – Dhananjaya starrer Bairagee.
