Bedurulanka 2012 out on OTT: Where to stream the Karthikeya, Neha Sshetty starrer

Kathikeya Gummakonda is one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema. But in the last two years or so, he has not given a single hit. That is the reason, he pinned a lot of hopes of his new film, Bedurulanka 2012. After Colour Photo and Tellavarithe Guruvaram, producer Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni has produced Bedurulanka 2012.

We at OTTplay have revealed that Hotstar was the front runner to bag the digital rights to the film. But in a strategic turnaround of events, Amazon Prime Video has started streaming the film without any prior information. 

The news in the film circles is that the makers struck a better deal with Prime Video and also okayed an early release on OTT. That is the reason Bedurulanka has been released all of a sudden. Initially, it was supposed to release in the last week of September 2023.

Bedurulanka 2012 basic plot

Bedurulanka 2012, set in a small village called Bedurulanka, is about how a few godmen try to cheat the villagers by telling them that the world will end by 2012. Karthikeya is seen in the role of a person who does not believe in god. Neha Shetty played the hero's girlfriend. Srikanth Iyengar, Ajay Ghosh, and Auto Ram Prasad were seen in key roles in the film. Mani Sharma's music was one of the highlights.

Bedurulanka 2012 is directed by a debutante named Clax. The village drama was released on August 25, 2023. The makers promoted the film on an aggressive note and the chemistry between Neha Sshetty and Karthikeya struck a chord with the audience. The film made close to Rs 15 crore share at the box office which is quite high for hero Karthikeya's market.
