Beeso Gaali song: Vikram and Nitya enjoy marital bliss amid the greenery and backwaters of Kerala in Dear Vikram number

Dear Vikram, which has been produced by Prithvi and Savaari maker Jacob Varghese and directed by his associate KS Nandeesh, is all set to release tomorrow. The film, which has Sathish Ninasam and Shraddha Srinath in the lead as Vikram and Nitya, is getting a straight-to-OTT release on Voot Select. In the run-up to the film dropping on the streamer, the team has been releasing songs.

While the romantic number Sanna Sanna Kanasu was first, they followed that up with Ararre Ararre Yeno Salige, which featured Vasishta N Simha and Raksha Somashekar, both of who have pivotal roles in the film. Then came the latest, Beeso Gali, which was yet again picturised on Sathish and Shraddha, as they, as Vikram and Nitya, build a life together in green picturesque Kerala.

Written by Hrudaya Shiva, the song, sung by Shreya Iyer and Narayana Sharma has Sathish and Shraddha enjoying marital bliss far away from the hustle and bustle of Bengaluru, amid the green and lush backwaters of Kerala. Dear Vikram is the tale of Vikram, who has strong political views bordering on Naxalism, and Nitya, who idolizes him and his ideology, until she realizes that she has been looking at their relationship through rose-tinted glasses. When the enormity of their situation strikes her, their relationship is tested. Can their relationship pass the test of time?

The film, which was launched way back in 2017 as Godhra, had delays in the initial stages of production and later on due to the pandemic as well. When it was eventually ready for release, the team was asked to consider a change of title, even though the film does not allude to the Godhra riots of 2002. The makers then thought that since Sathish’s character is called Vikram and the narrative follows his political ideologies, it made sense to name the film after him. Dear Vikram will be on Voot Select on June 30.
