Actor-comedian Santhanam-starrer horror comedy DD Next Level, is all set to release in big screens on May 16. The film is the fourth instalment in the horror comedy franchise whose all four parts features Santhanam in the lead role. As DD Next Level is gearing up for release, it is the perfect time to binge-watch the first three films. All of them are available on OTTplay Premium.
Santhanam, who is known for his prolific comedy timing, and last seen in Madha Gaja Raja, is waiting for his next film DD Next Level. It is a horror comedy and the film will release on May 16. It is to be noted that DD Next Level is the fourth part in the film franchise.
Before watching DD Next Level, you can stream the old films on OTTplay Premium as the one-stop destination. The first part is titled Dhilluku Dhuddu which released in 2016. The horror comedy is helmed by Rambala and revolves around a couple who are in love which is not accepted by her father. In order to finish off the boy, the father sends him to a haunted house. After the success of the first part, Santhanam and Rambhala joined hands for the sequel Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 which released in 2019. It is also a horror comedy and is about a girl who is surrounded by black magic, causing anyone who falls in love with her to get killed. Santhanam, Shritha Sivadas, Rajendran, Urvashi and others are part of the cast.
DD Returns released in 2023 and is directed by debutant Prem Anand, who is also making DD Next Level. With Santhanam, Surbhi, Redin Kingsley, Maaran and Pradeep Rawat among others, DD Returns is about a group of friends who hide a loot in a haunted bungalow fearing police, only to go inside to retrieve it and face the consequences.
After its theatrical run, you can stream DD Next Level on OTTplay Premium. The film follows a film critic who gets called for a special screening only to get trapped in a virtual reality where he is transported to an island. Gautham Menon, Selvaraghavan, Yashika Anand, Rajendran, and others are part of the horror comedy.
