Just two days before the OTT release of the highly-anticipated film Leo, a surprise behind-the-scenes video was dropped online. No, it's not released to Leo. Sun Pictures has unveiled the BTS video of its previous blockbuster Beast, which also stars Thalapathy Vijay in the lead.

"Meaner! Leaner! Stronger! Here is the exclusive BTS from #Beast," tweeted the production house.

In the video, Vijay can be seen taking basic training on roller skates in preparation for an action sequence, with stunt directors Anbariv, Anbumani and Arivumani, supervising the training.

The BTS video is going viral, drawing a lot of appreciation for Vijay's talent in performing stunts without the help of body doubles. "It’s not even easy to stand balanced in those skates, but Thalapathy did a quick turn around Unbelievable skills on display For those who doubted & labeled it as a stunt double, here's a clear shot video for the skeptics. #ThalapathyVijay has been a trained skater since his teens," wrote a fan racting to the video.

Some even reminded fans that Vijay had exhibited his skating skills very early on his career. "Way back on early 2000 he already has this skating talents," tweeted a fan.

However, a few wondered whether Sun Picture's decision to tweet this video now, more than a year after the release of Beast, suggested the banner's upcoming collaboration with Vijay. "Signal For Next Project is Locked With Thalapathy!," said a fan.

The buzz is Sun Pictures is likely to bankroll #Thalapathy69 and director Karthik Subbaraj is expected to helm the project. However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited.

In the meantime, Sun tv also holds the satellite rights to Vijay's biggest blockbuster Leo. The film will start streaming on Netflix on November 24.
