Today, Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Shriya Pilgaonkar starrer The Broken News Season 2 trailer was released, which is also based on the personal and professional lives of journalists. The film perfectly showcases the real life of an entertainment journalist.

Rann on Prime Video

Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Sudeep, Riteish Deshmukh, Paresh Rawal, and Gul Panag, Rann was released in the year 2010. The narrative of the film revolves around two of the top news organizations who compete with each other following a bomb blast in the Muzaffarnagar district. Both of the agencies are hungry to get more viewers when one of the esteemed chiefs attempts to uphold journalistic honesty.

No One Killed Jessica on Netflix

Besides Rani Mukerji's stellar performance as journalist Meera Gaity, the film is equally powerful in terms of storyline. The film is based on a real-life murder case that shook the nation. It was applauded for the genuine portrayal of a journalist and powerful performances by Rani and Vidya Balan. Released in 201, the film was directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.

While this not be the best film made on journalism, Kartik Aaryan starrer Dhamaka still showcases the real side of all the work that is being done behind the news anchor that we see on Television. Kartik's intense performance as TV host Arjun Pathak, the film reveals the politics that is involved behind a few headliners and how 'real journalists' never fall for the scam and deliver what is best for society with bravery.

Hansal Mehta's Scoop starring Karishma Tanna (as Journalist Jagruti Pathak) in the lead role is a real-life story inspired by Jigna Vora's biographical book Behind The Bars In Byculla: My Days in Prison. The show takes us to the real challenges that a journalist faced when she was accused of the murder of her colleague and was forced to share a cell with the people whom she used to write about.
