Before Yodha releases in theatres, know which Sidharth Malhotra film is his best performing and no, it is not Ek Villain

Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha’s first show will be out in theatres in a few hours. The actor, who made his Bollywood debut in 2012, has some really interesting films to his credit. Ahead of Yodha’s release, know which out of his movies became the most loved, according to a report on Ormax Media. Hint: It is not Ek Villain or Student of The Year.

Sidharth’s most loved movie

Sidharth’s most ever loved movie is Shershaah. Yes, the film where he played the role of Captain Batra still holds a warm place in people’s heart and thus, it is his most loved film. Interestingly, Yodha brings back the makers of Shershaah. It now remains to be seen whether they can also bring back the magic of the film.

Ek Villain, SOTY not in top 3

Neither Ek Villain nor Student of the Year are among Sidharth’s top three movies. Second on the list is the Netflix release, Mission Majnu. Third comes Kapoor & Sons, where he featured alongside Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt.

In top 5

Sidharth’s Bollywood debut film Student of the Year, which introduced him as ‘Kukkad Kamaal Da,’ ranks fourth on the list. Fifth is the movie which came as a surprise hit – Hasee Toh Phasee co-starring Parineeti Chopra.

Bottom five

Ek Villain missed top five by one spot. The movie, in a sense, defined Sidharth’s career. It was his first big hit after his debut film. The movie also starred Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in leading roles.

Marjaavaan, Brothers, A Gentleman and Ittefaq rank seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th respectively. All the movies had a lukewarm response at the Box Office but each received praises in their own way.

Sidharth was last seen in Indian Police Force, which is from the Rohit Shetty cop universe. It was a web series, as opposed to movies from the universe. Meanwhile, Sidharth’s name is also associated with Aankhen 2 and Rowdy Rathore 2. The actor is yet to confirm whether he is a part of the projects.
