Bell Bottom trailer: Akshay Kumar at his stylish best as India's secret agent

The adrenaline-packed trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom was released today. Recently, the makers of the highly-anticipated film cheered Akshay's fans with the news of its theatrical release. The action-thriller film will hit theatres in 2D and 3D formats on August 19.

The slick trailer begins with an Indian airways high-jacking scene. Moving forward, it takes the viewers through a discussion between then PM Indira Gandhi and Adil Hussain’s character as well as other government officers including Akshay’s character, whose code name is Bell Bottom, India’s secret government agent. In the next scene, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa actor can be seen sporting a suit with bell-bottom trousers.

Bell Bottom (a.k.a Akshay Kumar) is a national level chess player with a sharp memory and can speak and write in Hindi, English, German and French languages. The actor can be seen combating multiple criminals and talking back with a few ministers as well. Akshay is on a mission to rescue 210 people from four highjackers.

On Tuesday, the makers of Bellbottom launched the power-packed trailer in PVR Priya, Delhi. The trailer promises an epic adventure, full of world-class action, retro swag, a foot-tapping background score. Bell Bottom also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in significant roles.
