Bell Bottom Twitter review: Netizens call Akshay Kumar starrer a 'blockbuster'

Theatres are back after many months and Akshay Kumar has done the honours. The actor's latest release Bell Bottom has hit the big screens. The film directed by Ranjit M Tewari also features Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi in supporting roles. Now that Bell Bottom has hit the big screens, fans have rushed to the theatres to catch up with the screening of the film.

Moreover, many who watched the film took to their Twitter pages and heaped praises on Akshay's latest film. One of the users tweeted, "Just Finished Watching #BellBottom. One of the best movies done by @akshaykumar sir. Worth watching for everyone. 4.5 stars from me."

While another fan wrote on his Twitter page, "#BellBottom one of the finest thrilling movies I watched in recent times and what an experience just amazing @akshaykumar sir Must watch."

As per reports in Box Office India, the film had an occupancy of 15 to 20% on its opening day. The film had a few advantages of being the first theatrical release in many months and that too having Akshay in the leading role. Bell Bottom didn't opt for a regular Friday release as it hit the screens on a Thursday making it a long opening weekend. 

Moreover, the film did not get a release in Maharashtra owing to unchanged rules by the state government. 

Meanwhile, Akshay announced the film finally coming out on Thursday by sharing a short teaser video on his social media pages. The actor captioned it as "The mission has already begun and our vision is to help you experience this gripping story, #BellbottomInCinemasNow, also in 3D."

Bell Bottom is co-written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Sheikh, while Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Nikkhil Advani have produced the film.
