Actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas is leaving no stone unturned to give his best for his Bollywood debut with the remake of the Telugu blockbuster Chatrapathi. The untitled film is being directed by star-maker VV Vinayak. The film's shoot is progressing at a brisk pace. Earlier today, Bellamkonda Sreenivas had a fanboy moment on the sets of his Hindi film, while he performed with ace comedian Johny Lever. The actor wrote a poignant note about getting to share screen space with him in a social media post.
"Honoured to have gotten an opportunity to share screenspace with the legendary actor Johny Lever sir. The energy he brings to the set is really infectious. @iam_johnylever," the actor wrote on Instagram, while sharing a couple of images from the film's sets. The veteran, as spirited as ever, and a naturally enthusiastic Sreenivas are seen in a cheery mood, interacting with one another in the location. Nushrratt Bharuccha is reported to play the leading lady in the film, reprising the role that Shriya Saran had played in the original.
Vijayendra Prasad, father of director SS Rajamouli, who also wrote the story for Chatrapathi, is part of the remake and has tweaked the script to suit the nativity for the Hindi speaking audiences. The film is bankrolled by Jayantilal Gada under Pen Studios. Apart from this Hindi film, Bellamkonda Sreenivas has also signed the dotted line for a Telugu film titled Stuartpuram Donga (to be produced by his father Bellamkonda Suresh), whose poster was launched for Diwali. The shoot of Stuartpuram Donga is expected to commence soon.
