Benaqaab: A new mystery thriller series starring Puja Joshi is out on ShemarooMe

Yet another intriguing story of murder and mystery has hit the digital sphere, this time on ShemarooMe. The streaming platform’s latest web series, titled Benaqaab, has been unveiled recently. The series premiered on December 23, 2021.

The murder mystery series revolves around the story of two competing news channels, each trying to best the other in terms of breaking a story. But things take an unexpectedly gruesome turn when a female journalist is found brutally murdered. The journey to find the perpetrator behind this awful crime leads to an array of events, both thrilling and chilling.

The web series stars Puja Joshi in the lead. In a press release, the actress had shared how her character on the show was unlike any she had ever played before and expressed her hope that the show would definitely captivate audiences with its riveting premise. The new show will be the second series Joshi has done for ShemarooMe. She had previously also starred in Vaat Vaat Ma, which had been released on the platform earlier this year.

Benaqaab also stars Tannaz Irani, who is making her OTT debut with the show. Expressing her elation to be a part of the project, the actress talked about how the show had an engrossing story, complete with twists and turns the audiences will rarely see coming. Irani also talked about how shooting for the same had been a delightful experience for her.

In addition to Joshi and Irani, the series also features Nimesh Diliprai, Amee Trivedi, Kuldeep Gor and Dilip Darbar.

Benaqaab can be streamed on ShemarooMe in both Hindi and Gujarati languages.
