LCU brand of films, which has created its own expectations in Tamil cinema, is gearing up for the next film from the world. Created by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the Coolie filmmaker announced Benz as the next installment from the world of LCU. Headlined by Kanchana actor Raghavan Lawrence, the film will be directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, with the story penned by Lokesh.
On Wednesday, the makers of Benz announced the new entrant, and it is none other than Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly, who has been missing in action for some time now. He will be playing the villain in Benz.
After Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo, the next film from LCU is in the making. Titled Benz, the film will feature Raghava Lawrence in the lead role. The film is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, known for films like Sulthan and Remo.
The newest addition to Benz is Nivin Pauly. The Malayalam actor, who wasn't seen in Tamil cinema ever since the 2017 film Richie, will be playing the main antagonist. The teaser begins with the barks of a dog as we hear something being butchered badly. We see Nivin Pauly at a distance and as he comes closer to the stream, we see him adorned in jewellery as he carries a matchet dripping blood. In a red robe and smoking, he asks someone for their name. We see another Nivin Pauly spelling out Benz. He promises to finish off Benz, as we get a reminisce of Rolex. Nivin Pauly plays the role of Walter in Lokesh Kanagaraj's universe.
Sai Abhyankkar, the young Indie music sensation who is also scoring for Dude and Suriya 45, has been roped in as the music director for the film. The technical crew also includes Goutham G as the cinematographer, while Philomin Raj is the editor. The film, which promises high-octane action, will have Anal Arasu as the action choreographer. Lokesh is producing the film under the banner G Squad. The post-theatrical rights of Benz are with Netflix.

A sequel to Kaithi is also expected to be made. The third part of LCU is Leo starring Vijay, which is streaming on Netflix.
