1.)Brahmastra Part One – Shiva Shiva theme

Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva had one of the most noteworthy background scores. Composed by Pritam and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the Shiva theme from Brahmastra comprises Sanskrit shlokas written by Prasun Gupta. This background score plays throughout the film, amping up the action sequences even more with the inspirational track sung by Javed Ali.

2.) An Action Hero

An Action Hero was an eagerly anticipated release this year, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles. The Anirudh Iyer-directed film has noteworthy action sequences which are highlighted by an equally brilliant background score. Composed by Parag Chhabra and sung by D’Evil and Shah Rule, Asli Action Chalu makes the plot of the film  stand out more.

5.) Drishyam 2

This gripping thriller, starring  Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna, had its intense and mysterious plot perfectly matched with the background score. Composed by Devi Sri Prasad, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and sung beautifully by Usha Uthup, the score allowed Abhishek Pathan’s direction to flourish even more, adding to the drama.

6.) Bhul Bhulaiya 2

The sequel of the iconic horror film brought with it an updated rework of the title track that retains the  eccentric charm, along with added hip-hop twists and dance-floor beats. The film's score was composed by Sandeep Shirodkar while the songs were composed by Pritam and Tanishk Bagchi, with lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, Sameer, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Mandy Gill and Saaveri Verma. It features a remix single of the 2007 film's title track by Neeraj Shridhar.

8.) Vikram Vedha - Bande

The background score of the film stems from Sam C S’s original background score for the 2017 Tamil film Vikram Vedha, with the Hindi version emulating the Tamil one. Sung by Sivam and written by Manoj Muntashir, Bande depicts the authentic and intense nature of Hrithik Roshan’s Vedha, along with the tension between him and Saif Ali Khan’s Vikram. The music hits all the right spots.
