Best Hulu shows to watch in India

1. Life & Beth (Disney+ Hotstar)

Comedian Amy Schumer stars in the comedy drama series, Life & Beth, as a woman who begins to see flashbacks of her younger self after an unexpected incident. Violet Young essays the younger version of the character as Beth begins to introspect her past, present, and future.

2. Normal People (LionsgatePlay)

The critically acclaimed Irish romantic drama series is produced by BBC and Hulu. Based on Sally Rooney’s novel of the same name, the plot chronicles high school sweethearts Marianne and Connell and how their complex relationship evolves from school to college to adulthood.

3. The Girl from Plainville (LionsgatePlay)

The American limited series is a dramatised version of the real events surrounding the suicide of a teenager named Conrad Ray and how his girlfriend Michelle Carter encouraged him though text messages to take his own life. The story grabbed national media attention in the US and was referred to as the "texting suicide case."

4. The Dropout (Disney+ Hotstar)

The story of Elizabeth Holmes is yet another true story that gripped America. Holmes earned notoriety for founding a fake biotechnology company that was once valued at £9 billion. Amanda Seyfried essays the lead as Holmes in the true crime drama TV series, The Dropout.

5. The Old Man (Disney+ Hotstar)

Hollywood legend Jeff Bridges stars in The Old Man, a drama thriller series, as a veteran CIA agent who lives in solitude outside the confines of the system. But he is forced into hiding after he kills an intruder who trespassed into his property.

6. Dopesick - (Disney+Hotstar)

Based on the non-fiction book by Danny Strong titled, Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors, and the Drug Company that Addicted, the American mini series Dopesick focuses on America’s war on drugs and court battle involving a pharmaceutical company and their new drug.

7. Only Murders in the building - (Disney+Hotstar)

Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short essay the lead roles in Only Murders in the Building as true crime enthusiasts who stumble upon a murder mystery of their own. The comedy crime drama series won critical acclaim for its well-written characters and intriguing plotlines.

8. Family Guy - (Disney+Hotstar)

One of the most popular adult animated shows of all time, Family Guy will air its 21st season on September 25 this year. The dark comedy satire created by Seth McFarlane has the writer and showrunner essay multiple roles in the series. It also stars Alex Borstein, Seth Green, and Mila Kunis.
