While many Hindi web series fell short of their promises, others built a name for themselves and received a tonne of support from people all around the world.

1. Panchayat (Amazon Prime Video):

Panchayat's first season was fantastic, and its second season was even better. The narrative takes us back to Phulera as Panchayat Secretary Abhishek Tripathi struggles with his professional problems and his fluctuating relationships with locals. This season, the cast, led by Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik, Jitendra Kumar, and Neena Gupta, successfully tackles sensitive subjects while upholding the show's lighthearted humour.

2. Delhi Crime (Netflix):

The second season of Delhi Crime, an Emmy-winning show, is centred on the Kachha-Baniyan gang, which wreaked havoc in several regions of the nation in the 1990s. The first season of Delhi Crime was based on the Nirbhaya case. The cast is led by the talented Shefali Shah, who convinces everyone that we need to see her more frequently.

3. Rocket Boys (SonyLIV):

Rocket Boys provides a glimpse into India's early years in atomic energy and space exploration and is based on the lives of legendary scientists Dr. Homi J. Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. The camaraderie between Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh looks good on screen. The show also stars Saba Azad and Regina Cassandra. 

4. Human (Disney Plus Hotstar):

The medical thriller features Shefali Shah, who excels as a cunning pharmaceutical executive. Kirti Kulhari and Vishal Jethwa are also featured in the series, which is directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Mozez Singh. 

5. Apharan (Voot & ALT Balaji):

Apharan 2 is a hilarious crime drama. Cop Rudra Srivastava (Arunoday Singh), who is hired by R&AW for a secret mission in Siberia, is the focus of the 11-episode miniseries.

6. Gullak (SonyLIV):

Gullak is a series of relatable yet disarming tales of the Mishra family, set amid beautiful byways in the heart of India. The presence of several incredibly relatable people in Gullak 3 is what keeps the audience interested. This web series chronicles the story of middle-class dreams and will make you laugh and cry at the same time. The storyline, written by Durgesh Singh, and the outstanding performance in this heartwarming series have received recognition. The show stars notable leading actors Geetanjali Kulkarni, Jameel Khan, and Vaibhav Raj Gupta.

7. NCR Days (YouTube):

NCR Days, yet another college-themed show, tells the story of Monu (Nikhil Vijay), a man from Jodhpur who comes to NCR to study for an MBA in order to marry his fiancée back home. He meets new people and learns some difficult lessons as a result.

8. Abhay (ZEE5):

The third season of Abhay follows SP Abhay Pratap Singh (Kunal Kemmu) as he faces his own issues and solves horrific murders. In the third season, Vijay Raaz excels as a charismatic cult leader plotting a mass murder, making the adversaries just as powerful as Kemmu.

9. Campus Diaries (MX Player):

Campus Diaries is yet another college rom-com that chronicles the maturation of six Excel University students. Here, young actors take centre stage and make the programme relatable to young people. Harsh Beniwal, Ritvik Sahore, Shrishti Ganguly Rindani, Saloni Khanna, Abhinav Sharma, Saloni Gaur, Rajesh Yadav, and Gulshan Nain star in Campus Diaries.

10. College Romance (SonyLIV):

Three best friends are the centre of the lighthearted teen drama series College Romance. The plot revolves around friendships, relationships, conflicts, bonds, romance, memories, and a tonne of comedy-filled college life drama. The show stars Apoorva Arora, Gagan Arora, Shreya Mehta, Keshav Sadhna, Nupur Nagpal, Eklavey Kashyap, and Jhanvi Rawat in prominent leading roles.
