Bestseller trailer celeb reactions: Karan Johar, Amitabh Bachchan call Shruti Haasan’s show gripping, suspenseful

Bestseller definitely ticks a lot of the right boxes when it comes to making a thrilling entertainer. From a riveting premise to a stellar cast, the series has all the elements that rightfully earn it a place among one of the most awaited releases of the season. And its engaging trailer just seems to cinch the deal, with even the who’s who of the industry taking the time to express their awe at the same.

The trailer elicited responses from some Bollywood big-wigs including the likes of Karan Johar and Amitabh Bachchan. While Johar congratulated the makers for bringing forth such a ‘gripping’ tale, Bachchan invited viewers to watch the ‘suspense unfold’ when the series premieres on Amazon Prime Video on February 18.

Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, Dia Mirza, Manoj Bajbayee, Athiya Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Nia Sharma, Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna also lauded the trailer on their social media handles and congratulated the makers of the show and wished them well. Some of them also singled out Siddharth Malhotra, who produces the show under his banner of Alchemy Production LLP, while sharing the trailer on their social media.

Filmmakers Bobby, Gopichand Malineni and Badri Venkatesh also reacted to the trailer, making special mention of Shruti Haasan and how they are looking forward to seeing her on the show.

The upcoming series is based on the book The Bestseller She Wrote, written by Ravi Subramanian. Along with Haasan, the series also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Arjan Bajwa, Gauahar Khan, Arjan Bajwa and Satyajeet Dubey. The series is directed by Mukul Abhyankar.

Bestseller will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video from February 18, 2022.
