Bestseller trailer: Shruti Haasan seems sly in this crime-thriller alongside Mithun Chakraborty & Arjan Bajwa

Amazon Prime Video has finally unveiled the trailer of an upcoming crime-drama Bestseller that stars Shruti Haasan, Mithun Chakraborty, Arjan Bajwa and Gauahar Khan. The forthcoming web series is an intelligent and gripping psychological thriller that is a perfect blend of suspense and drama, which has been directed by Mukul Abhyankar.

The trailer begins with Arjan's character, who is a novelist and struggling to write his next book and has Gauahar beside him. Shruti enters the video next, where she can be seen fangirling the writer and talking to him about her injuries, which inspires the novelist and he decides to write on his fan's pain and past life. 

Later, the Ramaiya Vastavaiya actress gets attacked by an unknown masked man, who also threatens Arjan because of his books. Post that Mithun enters the trailer as a police officer to investigate the high profile case in the show.

Talking about the story of Bestseller, the director mentioned that he found it exciting and thrilling as soon as he read the script.

The forthcoming web series marks the digital debut of Mithun and Shruti.

Speaking about his characters, the veteran actor said in a recent statement, "Lokesh Pramanik, my character in Bestseller, is a unique personality with interesting quirks. I enjoyed playing him with all his eccentricities. I also had a great time working with my talented co-stars on the series."

While talking about the show the Krack actress mentioned in a statement that she is thrilled that Bestseller is her full-feature digital debut.

Shruti also took the latest official trailer to Instagram and shared it with a caption that reads, "Here we go ! Uncovering the story behind the story Watch #BestsellerOnPrime, Feb 18th (sic)."

Arjan also opined his thoughts about the Amazon Originals show and said that the entire narrative of the series is really intriguing and well layered.

Bestseller, which also features Satyajeet Dubey and Sonalee Kulkarni in prominent roles, is set to premiere on February 18.
