Telugu OTT platform aha and storytelling platform Dice Media (by Pocket Aces) are joining forces for the second time (after Alludu Garu) for a coming of age web series titled #BFF. aha's new show is the official remake of Dice Media’s popular series Adulting, which has had three successful seasons. #BFF revolves around the highs and lows in the lives of two unapologetic yet imperfect women, who try to be independent adults in Hyderabad.

The web show, directed by Bhargav Macharla, is all set to premiere on aha on May 20. Siri Hanumanth and Ramya Pasupuleti are cast as Nithya and Tara in the show, who discover the many dimensions of adulthood. Praneeta Patnaik, who was also part of Bhargav Macharla's Net (Zee5) in the past, is part of the lineup in addition to popular journalist-cum-actor Anjali (I dream fame). The show and its release date were officially launched at a watch party organised by aha for media and Telugu social media influencers at Air Live, Hyderabad.

#BFF sees life through the eyes of two best friends, their friendship, ups and downs, successes and failures and how the duo navigates through customary problems of adulthood. With a humorous twist, the show takes you through their financial struggles, societal pressures, parental expectations and other common issues with adulthood one experiences during their twenties and thirties. In addition to Dice Media, aha is also collaborating with Tamada Media for the same.

Talking about the show, aha's CEO Ajit K Thakur stated the show reflects the voice of modern-day women who are independent in mind, body and thought. He said that such a story hasn't been explored yet in the Telugu states, while also expressing his happiness in collaborating with Dice Media and Tamada. Ajit is hopeful that youngsters and aha's subscribers, new-age audience would find the show relatable. Sarjita Jain, showrunner, Dice Media, was optimistic about #BFF's content and told aha as a platform will do justice to bring Adulting to Telugu audiences.

Ramya Pasupuleti, Siri Hanumanth and select cast, crew were also part of the event.
