Bhagyashree Borse made her Telugu debut with Ravi Teja's film Mr. Bachchan. Though the film flopped, she won the hearts of many with her glamour and dance performances. Her acting was also appreciated by critics, quickly making her a talking point in the Telugu film industry.
Bhagyashree Borse, the new kid on the block
In a short span, Bhagyashree has signed multiple Telugu projects. The latest update is that she will play the female lead in Suriya's Telugu film, directed by Venky Atluri of Lucky Baskhar fame. This is no ordinary project, as it will be produced on a massive scale by Naga Vamsi.
Additionally, Bhagyashree will be seen in Dulquer Salmaan's Kaantha, with her first look from the film recently revealed. She has also signed Ram Pothineni’s next film, which is currently in production.
Bhagyashree Borse will next be seen in Kingdom
Among all her upcoming films, the biggest is Kingdom, where she stars alongside Vijay Deverakonda. The film's teaser was recently unveiled, adding to the anticipation surrounding her role.
Bhagyashree is also in talks for a few other high-profile Telugu films and is likely to sign one of them next month. The Telugu film industry has seen a new wave of actresses making a mark in recent years. Meenakshi Chaudhary is one such star, delivering back-to-back hits with Lucky Baskhar and Sankranthiki Vasthunam.
Industry insiders believe Bhagyashree could follow a similar path and establish herself once her big films are released in 2025. Bhagyashree made her Bollywood debut with Yaariyan 2, but the film did not bring her much success in Hindi cinema. However, director Harish Shankar spotted her talent and gave her a break in Mr. Bachchan, setting the stage for her Tollywood career.
