Bhagyashri Borse is one of the most happening heroines in the South as of now. She is in the news for her sensational performance in the Dulquer Salmaan film Kaantha and Ram Pothineni's Andhra King Taluka. Though these films flopped big time, Bhagyashri Borse has won the hearts of many and is being offered multiple films.

We at OTTplay have come to know that Bhagyashri has signed a female-oriented project that will be backed by the makers of Mahanati and Kalki 2898 AD.
One of the sources close to the unit revealed to us that a debut director named Ramesh, who has worked with the likes of Nag Ashwin and a few other directors, impressed the makers with his script, following which they decided to go ahead with the project. A few top stars were approached, but as they were busy, Bhagyashri was offered the film and she is on board as of now.
Though an official confirmation is yet to be made in this regard, the news has become a talking point in film circles. There is also news that the project might go on floors in early 2026 and will be wrapped up in quick succession.
Bhagyashri Borse is also in talks for a few other big Telugu films, which are expected to be announced soon by the makers. Bagging a film with such a prestigious banner is a big achievement, and one can only hope that the project materialises soon.
Fans eagerly await Kalki 2 update
On the other hand, fans are eager to know when the second part of Kalki 2898 AD will go on floors, especially after reports that Deepika Padukone has walked out of the film.
