Kalki 2898 AD, the futuristic sci-fi film directed by Nag Ashwin is gearing up for a grand release on June 27, 2024. Ahead of the massive release, the makers of the Prabhas-Deepika Padukone starrer dropped the much-awaited Kalki 2898 AD first single Bhairava Anthem on social media, on June 16, 2024, Sunday. Even though the lyrical video of the song was not released on Sunday evening as planned, the makers compensated for the delay by dropping the audio song on all major music platforms. The Bhairava Anthem, which features leading man Prabhas and singer Diljit Dosanjh, is an independent promo song that is not included in the film.
The highly anticipated Bhairava Anthem, which is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, is sung by the popular Punjabi musician-actor Diljit Dosanjh. Ramajogayya Sastry penned the Telugu lyrics, while the Hindi lyrics are by Kumaar. Even though the unexpected delay in the release of the Bhairava Anthem lyrical video disappointed the fans, the makers compensated by dropping the full single on all leading musical platforms. The electrifying number, which garnered the attention of audiences with the exceptional camaraderie of Prabhas and Diljit Dosanjh in the promo video, has now set social media on fire with its energetic composition and powerful lyrics.
For the uninitiated, the highly anticipated Bhairava Anthem lyrical video has been delayed due to some unexpected technical issues. Recently, production banner Vyjayanthi Movies took to their official social media handles and announced that the Kalki 2898 AD first single will now be released on June 17, 2024, Monday, at 11 AM. “The wait is almost over for the #BhairavaAnthem Just a little longer, and you can enjoy it. In the meantime, listen to it on your favourite music streaming platforms! Full Video Song out Tomorrow at 11 AM,” reads the social media post of the banner.
As per the reports, the Bhairava Anthem is in no way connected with the plot of Kalki 2898 AD, or the character played by Prabhas in the film. The Diljit Dosanjh number is just a promotional song, which will be used in the publicity videos and events of the film. Santhosh Narayanan has composed both the songs and original score for the Nag Ashwin directorial, which is gearing up to have a pan-Indian release in five languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
