Bhairavam box office collection day 1: Manchu Manoj's film takes a decent start, makes Rs 3 crore

Bhairavam is the official remake of the Tamil hit Garudan. Featuring Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohith, and Bellamkonda Srinivas in lead roles, the remake was directed by Vijay Kanakamedala of Naandhi fame. The makers did not leave any stone unturned and promoted the film very aggressively, and the result is evident with the decent openings.

As per the latest update, Bhairavam has collected Rs 3 crore net on day one of its release worldwide. This is an impressive number, and the makers are quite happy with the way the family drama opened. There is no big Telugu release this week, so Bhairavam will look to consolidate over the weekend.

The film is quite special as it marks the Telugu debut of Aditi Shankar, the daughter of the great director Shankar. She was paired opposite Rakshasudu fame Bellamkonda Srinivas. The duo shared very good chemistry in the film, which is about three close friends.

Manchu Manoj also makes a comeback to films after nine long years, and he is being appreciated for his performance in the film. Sricharan Pakala of Kshanam fame composed the music for this film, which is high on emotions.

When it comes to the US, Bhairavam has had a slow start due to the lack of big names in the film. The makers have planned special post-release promotions in the days to come to keep Bhairavam in the news.

Nara Rohith also makes his comeback with this film, and his performance is considered the best of the lot. He played a mature character and brought a lot of weight to the narrative. The emotional thread in the film is a bit heavy, and the film has more mass moments.
