Bhairavam OTT release date: When, where to stream Manchu Manoj's comeback film

Bhairavam was a special film for multiple reasons. It marked the comeback of Manchu Manoj, Bellamkonda Srinivas, and Nara Rohit to Telugu cinema after a long gap.

Not many know that Bhairavam is the official remake of the Tamil superhit film Garudan. The makers bought the remake rights from the Tamil producers and revamped the script slightly, titling the film Bhairavam.

Vijay Kanakamedala, who directed hits like Naandhi, helmed this action drama. After performing well at the box office, Bhairavam has finally locked its OTT release date. 

We at OTTplay have learned that ZEE5 has acquired the digital rights. The film will be available for streaming on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium from July 18, 2025. Interestingly, a few deleted scenes that were not part of the theatrical version will also be added to the OTT release.

Bhairavam is also special as it marked the Telugu debut of star director Shankar’s daughter, Aditi Shankar. She played the romantic lead opposite Bellamkonda Srinivas, and their chemistry became one of the film’s major highlights. Aditi Shankar’s performance was widely appreciated by the Telugu audience, making her a popular name in the Telugu states.

Manchu Manoj back in the game

Manchu Manoj played a powerful role in the film, and his comeback was well-received by both critics and fans. He is back in the action genre and will next be seen in a negative role in Teja Sajja’s film Mirai.

The news is also that Bhairavam will stream on Zee TV on the same day, July 18, 2025, following ZEE5’s recent practice of simultaneous OTT and TV releases. Films like Sankranthiki Vasthunam followed a similar strategy.

Packed with action, we need to see how Bhairavam performs in the OTT space. The film is about three close friends who fall apart due to ego clashes over a land deal.
