Bhama Kalapam 2 is the sequel to Aha's original film Bhama Kalapam. The makers have released the teaser and the film will be released on February 16, 2024.

Bhama Kalapam, featuring Priyamani, was a direct-to-OTT release on Aha and made a decent impression. The suspense thriller is now ready with its sequel, Bhama Kalapam 2. Also starring Saranya Pradeep, the film's teaser was released in Hyderabad and it looks interesting. Priyamani reprises her role as Anupama, an innocent-looking housewife poised to embark on a thrilling heist adventure alongside her partner, played by Sharanya.
The promo kicks off with Anupama, a culinary expert with a penchant for gossip, promising her husband that she won't meddle in others' affairs as they move to a new home. Also, the way Priyamani's character takes an oath with the lines, "Anupama ane Nenu, Pakkana Valla vishayallo thaladurchanu ani, Naa Pani Nenu chesukuntu Prasanthangavuntanani" is showcased superbly in the promo.
As the couple settles into their new house, Anupama finds herself navigating the complexities of the biggest heist, leading to a thrilling narrative. The teaser, punctuated with snappy dialogues and dynamic action sequences, hints at a heist adventure that promises the perfect blend of entertainment.
If the first part was set up in a small apartment area, the sequel moves to a gated community where Priyamani has even more data to process and this gets her into more trouble. However, her promise crumbles as she becomes entangled in a colossal mess tied to a major heist.

Bhama Kalapam 2 is being produced by Dream Farmers, an association of Bapineedu and Sudheer Edara, in collaboration with Aha Studios. The film stars Priyamani in the lead role, supported by Seerat Kapoor, Sharanya, Raghu Mukherjee, Brahmaji and others. The first song from the film, Paruge Vinta Paruge was released a few days ago.
Bhama Kalapam 2 is directed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, who also made the first part. Bhamakalapam 1 was a direct-to-OTT crime thriller and garnered more than 4 million views on the streaming platform, making it the biggest success. We need to see how the sequel will fare. Watch this space for more.
