Priyamani and John Vijay play crucial roles in this home-cooked thriller directed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti

Telugu OTT platform aha, riding high on the success of their latest release Senapathi, is set to release their web original, Bhamakalapam starring Priyamani in the lead soon. Bhamakalapam is the Telugu OTT debut of Priyamani, whose career took a drastic turn with the humungous success of The Family Man. Labelled as a delicious home-cooked thriller, the web film is directed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti while the director of Dear Comrade, Bharat Kamma, is the showrunner. The first-look poster of the film was released today.
Priyamani is cast in the role of a homemaker Anupama in the film. In the first look poster, she is seen in an avatar resembling Goddess Durga with multiple hands. From a knife to a basket to a plate of biryani to a broom, an egg and a pooja-room bell, she is curiously expecting something. The colourful poster highlights the various dimensions of Anupama, a woman who can supposedly confront any obstacle that comes her way.
Anupama, Priyamani's character is perceived differently by the people around her, from a cheerful mom to a pushy wife and a nosy neighbour. What is she, after all? The makers promise to showcase The Family Man actress in a never-seen-before avatar and have audiences surprised by what she has to offer. Popular Tamil actor John Vijay also essays a key role. Justin Prabhakaran, the composer of films like Radhe Shyam, Dear Comrade, is the music director.
Sudheer Edara and Bogavalli Bapineedu have produced Bhamakalapam under SVCC Digital. The technical crew comprises cinematographer Deepak Kumar, editor Viplav. aha's recent releases include Lakshya, Senapathi, 3 Roses, Laabham, to name a few. Their talk show, Unstoppable has reportedly been rated the no. 1 talk show on IMDB.
