Bharti Singh was once called 'bean bag,' Malaika Arora responds with a smile - know everything that happened on Moving In With Malaika

The latest episode of Moving In with Malaika had a campaign about body positivity, with the actor advocating for the same. Comedian Bharti Singh appears at her house and they discuss social media trolling, which Bharti confesses has been prevalent most of her life and career.

Bharti expresses how growing up, she was trolled for size by not only outsiders, but family members too. This further encouraged her to get into comedy as a profession. On social media, she often receives the most atrocious comments from trolls. Certain comments appeared when she announced her engagement to Haarsh Limbachiyaa on social media, in which she was brutally asked to take a look at her size and was told, "Yeh hua Bharti asli combination haathi aur cheenti ka (This is the combination of an elephant and an ant)."

Bharti recalls how most of the comments surrounding her wedding photos were negative in nature, in place of best wishes that usually come in such cases. The trolls would viciously note how incompatible the pair was, calling them mother and son, or stating that a buffalo and goat had gotten married. Recalling these comments led Bharti to break down, and be consoled by Malaika.

After some time, Bharti shifts the tone of the conversation towards more light-heartness as she recalls how people sometimes also call her 'bean bag, rajayi (quilt).' This made Malaika smile, prompting Bharti to laughingly call her out, stating, "Hasi toh aapki bhi nikal rahi hai (Even you want to laugh)." Despite Malaika’s insistence that she wasn't laughing, Bharti did not miss a beat and comically added that now even she enjoys it, and everyone can laugh as much as they want. "This is how I am. I will enjoy my paranthas, I will drink my lassi," the comedian states.
