A new poster of Bhavai, the Hindi language debut of Scam 1992 actor Pratik Gandhi, was released recently.
The vibrant poster, which says the film is "an epic tale of music, love and Bhavai (a form of folk theatre popular in Gujarat), features the actor alongside the female lead Aindrita Ray.
The film, which was previously titled Raavan Leela, will release theatrically on October 1.
The title of the film was changed after umbrage from a section of social media users, who said the name Raavan Leela "hurt Hindu sentiments."
Pen Movies, the producers behind the romantic, had released a statement saying they were sensitive to the audience's sentiments, and had complied to their requests for a title change.
The statement also explained that the film is a fictional love story, where Gandhi would be seen as Raja Ram Joshi and Ray as Rani, who work in a drama company.
Bhavai is written and directed by Hardik Gajjar. Presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, Bhavai is produced by Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada, Parth Gajjar and Hardik Gajjar films in association with Backbencher Pictures.
The film also stars Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh.
