Actress Bhavan posted a throwback video in which her ‘woman crush’ Priyanka Chopra wished her the best of luck, well before the former's nuptials. The Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded actress additionally shared a couple of pictures from her mehendi ceremony held in January 2018.
Bhavana also expressed her gratitude to Shilpa Bala, and Filmfare's editor Jitesh Pillai for gifting her this video. “Throwback to this beautiful day. And thank you my woman crush Priyanka Chopra for sending me this wish and making it extra special,” she wrote on social media.
Her friends from the film industry, Remya Nambeesan, Shilpa Bala, Sayonara, Mridula Murali, and Shafna Nizam, are all seen in one of the photos. Because of her regular posts with these actresses and their joint appearances in public for various events, Malayalis are aware of her friendship with them.
She also thanked celebrity stylist Sabari Nath for designing her outfit for her special occasion.
Bhavana’s wedding
Bhavana tied the knot with Kannada producer Naveen on January 22, 2018. The duo met during the filming of her Kannada film, Romeo, starring alongside Ganesh. Her engagement with Naveen was held in a private ceremony, a month after her highly controversial abduction and assault case in February 2017.
Bhavana’s comeback in Malayalam
The Malayali audience praised the actress for her performance in Ntikkakkakkoru Premondarnn, which hit theatres in February 2023. She was acting in a Malayalam film after five years following the abduction and assault case, which was extensively covered by the media across the country as actor Dileep’s alleged link with the main accused.
She starred opposite Sharaf U Dheen in this romantic drama film. Bhavana had also played a prominent role in Shankar Ramakrishnan’s thriller film, Rani: The Real Story, last year.
According to reports, she will also be seen in Tovino Thomas’s Nadikar Thilakam. Her upcoming line-up of projects includes the Tamil film The Door, Hunt, and the Kannada movie Case Of Kondana. She is playing ACP Lakshmi in this investigative thriller, which will hit the big screen on January 26.
