Bhediya first look: Kriti Sanon, as Dr Anika, is here to treat Varun Dhawan's werewolf avatar

After Varun Dhawan, the makers of Bhediya unveiled the first look of Kriti Sanon from the film. VD plays the role of a werewolf in the supernatural film, while she will be seen as a doctor. Going by her first look, Sanon is seen holding a huge injection, which can only bring a werewolf under control. In the film, the actor has short hair and freckled cheeks.

Sanon captioned her first look, "Meet Dr. Anika! Bhediya ki doctor! Bhediya marks the second outing of Varun and Kriti on the big screen. In Rohit Shetty's 2015 movie Dilwale, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, they appeared on screen together for the first time.

Over the course of two months, from March to April 2021, Bhediya was filmed in the Arunachal Pradesh locales of Ziro (Lower Subansiri), Sagalee (Papum Pare), and selected areas of Pakke-Kessang district. Most of the actors in Bhediya, including the main character Jomin, are from the state of Arunachal Pradesh.

K4 Kheko, an Arunachal rapper, will also appear in the movie. Additionally, he sang and wrote the lyrics for the movie's theme song.

The story of Bhediya, which is about a werewolf, was based on legends from Arunachal Pradesh, where the movie was also shot. These legends have their roots in popular culture.

Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee play important parts in the movie that Amar Kaushik is in charge of directing. The script was written by Niren Bhatt, and Dinesh Vijan is making Bhediya through his own company, Maddock Films, and Jio Studios.

It is the third entry in Vijan's world of horror and comedy after Stree (2018) and Roohi (2021). The premiere of Bhediya is set for November 25, 2022.
