Bheemla Nayak, one of the biggest multi-starrers in Telugu cinema, that pits Pawan Kalyan (title character) against Rana Daggubati (in the role of Daniel Shekhar), is fast nearing completion. The film, scheduled to release on January 12, 2022, is directed by Saagar K Chandra and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. Nithya Menen, Samyuktha Menon play female leads in the cop outing that's an official remake of the Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum. After wowing music lovers with the title track, the makers are planning to launch the second single, Antha Ishtam, on October 15.
Sithara Entertainments, through their social media handle, posted, "Get ready for the other side of our #BheemlaNayak. The alluring 2nd Single ~ #AnthaIshtam... out on 15th Oct. A @MusicThaman Musical!" Antha Ishtam, much like the title track, is lyricised by Ramajogayya Sastry. The other side, as revealed in the song announcement poster, is about the relationship that Bheemla Nayak shares with his on-screen wife Nithya Menen. Pawan Kalyan and Nithya Menen are seen spending quality time near a hut in the poster.
It looks like audiences will get to hear a heart-warming melody from Thaman and Ramajogayya Sastry this time. Ravi K Chandran is on board as the film's cinematographer while editor Navin Nooli, art director AS Prakash are part of the technical team too. Filmmaker Trivikram has reworked the screenplay of the Malayalam original for the Telugu version and has also penned the dialogues for the action entertainer. PDV Prasad is the presenter of Bheemla Nayak. The film's shoot had commenced in January 2021.
