Bheemla Nayak has taken charge in theatres across the world and the reaction from fans and celebrities have been immense. Mahesh Babu is the latest star who has praised the action drama led by Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati. 

The actor took to Twitter to call the movie “riveting, intense and electrifying”. He also praised the lead actors, the writing by Trivikram Srinivas, and music by S. Thaman. 

The actor congratulated the team of Bheemla Nayak for the success of the movie, which hit theatres on February 25.

 The movie, which is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum starring Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments. 

Apart from Kalyan and Daggubati in the lead, the movie also features Nithya Menen, Samyuktha Menon, Samuthirakani, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Raghu Babu in supporting roles. 

The movie has gotten off to a solid start, with Deccan Herald reporting its second day collection to be around Rs 10 crore and Rs 20 crore. Daggubati had also taken to Twitter on Friday to share his gratitude to the fans for the box office success of the movie. 

The movie, which is helmed by Saagar K Chandra, has also received positive reviews from the critics. Srivathsan Nadadhur of OTTPlay wrote in his review, “The screenplay, dialogue writer in Trivikram is in prime form, terrific in giving the material a massy makeover, a new flavour, and he gets the essence of the characterisation right.”

Mahesh Babu, who was last seen in Sarileru Neekevvaru, is now working on Sarkaru Vaari Paata directed by Parasuram.
