The Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum has undergone a massy makeover in the hands of director Saagar K Chandra, writer Trivikram

Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati are coming together for the action entertainer Bheemla Nayak, the Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum, slated to release on February 25. The film is directed by Ayyare fame Saagar K Chandra and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. Trivikram has penned the screenplay and dialogues for the same. While the film's pre-release event was cancelled today, the theatrical trailer released as per schedule.
The trailer begins with Raghu Babu driving the car of a drunken Daniel Shekar, played by Rana Daggubati, where he has to face the wrath of the law, all thanks to a fierce cop Bheemla Nayak, played by Pawan Kalyan, SI for Srisailam tahsil in Andhra Pradesh. The former even warns Bheemla about arresting him and the consequences he may have to face later. When the families get involved, the contest gets ugly and messy.
All in all, Bheemla Nayak is just the right tonic for the fans of Pawan Kalyan, who have been waiting for the film with bated breath. The menacing avatar of Rana Daggubati is equally appealing in the trailer where Samuthirakani, Nithya Menen, Samyuktha Menon make their mark too. The trailer wouldn't have been what it was, if not for S Thaman's background score, which adds a lot of flavour and authenticity to the setting.
All pre-release formalities of Bheemla Nayak have been wrapped up. The film's pre-release event is to be held on February 23 at Yousufguda Police Grounds, Hyderabad in the presence of politicians KTR, cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, cast and the crew. Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Samuthirakani, Raghubabu, Narra Srinu, Kadambari Kiran, Chitti, Brahmanandam and Pammi Sai also play crucial roles in the film which has cinematography by Ravi K Chandran.
