Megastar Chiranjeevi looks in no mood to slow down in his comeback acting stint. Having begun 2023 on a bright and successful note in the form of Waltair Veerayya, Chiranjeevi is now set to don the role of Bhola Shankar for his next. The 67-year-old actor plays the titular role in the Meher Ramesh directorial which also stars Tamannaah and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles.
On the special occasion of Labour Day, team Bhola Shankar has released three new posters of the film which reveal the Megastar's rather alluring avatar. Dressed in blue 'taxi driver' overalls and seated atop his yellow taxi, Chiranjeevi strikes a stylish pose with a cup of tea held in his hand. Needless to say, fans were super impressed with the look of the film and many of them were thrilled to spot Chiranjeevi in his vintage shades.

The prominent Kolkata backdrop, too, has delighted the Megastar fans who are gushing over the fact that the actor will reprise his trademark charm that one saw in films like Choodalani Vundi and Gang Leader.
The latest reports inform us that the shooting of Bhola Shankar is nearing completion and the team plans on moving to Kolkata for the next schedule which would include Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah, Keerthy Suresh and Vennela Kishore. Europe will be the next destination for a song shoot, before the team returns home to reportedly conclude production.
Ramabrahmam Sunkara of AK Entertainments produces the film with Mani Sharma's son Mahati Swara Sagar signed on to compose the music.
Bhola Shankar comes as the official remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam, starring Ajith Kumar. The same film was also remade in Bengali as Sultan: The Saviour, which released in 2018. The Telugu version is set to release in theatres on August 11, 2023.
