Bholaa Box Office collection day 1: Ajay Devgn’s film mints Rs 10.25 crores on opening day

Ajay Devgn’s film Bholaa has minted Rs. 10.25 crores on its opening day. The movie opened in double digits, which is huge for a post-COVID release. Bholaa released in theatres on the occasion of Ram Navami i.e. on March 30, 2023.

The movie did not start with a great number. However, Bholaa picked up as the day progressed. Being in 3D helped the movie’s collections immensely.

It was thanks to the movie being available in 3D that Bholaa worked in multiplexes. However, the film could have performed better in Maharashtra and MP.

Despite it all, Bholaa earned Rs. 10.25 crores and became the 13th highest grossing film in the post pandemic era, according to a report on Box Office India. Bholaa was actually reaching Rs. 11 crores at the Box Office which is huge.

The movie is a remake of Karthi’s Kaithi. It performed best in Delhi and UP. East Punjab also contributed to Rs. 90 lakhs of the total net Box Office collections. It is big because these sectors did not perform in the post pandemic era. This is barring KGF: Chapter 2’s collections.

The second day will also be huge for Bholaa. The movie did not perform well in the morning but picked up by afternoon. Whether it picked up to the extent that it can beat the collections of first day, remains to be seen.

Bholaa has to perform better over the weekends too, in order to survive at the Box Office. It remains to be seen if the holidays do affect the collections of the film in any way.
