Ajay Devgn’s latest film Bholaa has managed to earn double digits at the Box Office on the opening day. The movie, according to a report on Box Office India, has earned Rs. 10.25 crores on day one. This means that Bholaa has performed worse than Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey and Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.

Bholaa opened lower than even Ajay’s own film, Drishyam 2. The latter had earned Rs. 14.92 crores on day one.

Bachchhan Paandey had minted Rs. 12.18 crores on day one. The movie also released on a holiday.

Meanwhile, Laal Singh Chaddha, which released around Christmas, opened to Rs. 11.58 crores. The film was also a remake. It was adapted from Tom Hank’s Forrest Gump.

Ajay made a cameo in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. The movie is the third highest opening film in the post pandemic era and is followed by Drishyam 2 at number four.

Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra takes the second place. The movie earned Rs. 30.37 crores on its opening day.

The highest opening film in the post-pandemic era released in January this year. You guessed it right. According to a report on Box Office India, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is the highest grossing film in the post COVID-19 times.

Earning Rs. 55.72 crores, Pathaan is the highest grossing film in the post pandemic times. Bholaa, on the other hand, beat Ranbir and Alia’s movies Shamshera and Gangubai Kathiawadi. They earned Rs. 9.81 crores and Rs. 9.62 crores on day one respectively.
