National award-winning actor-director Ajay Devgn is seen doing some high-octane action in his upcoming film Bholaa. He recently said that audiences from any part of the world always look for an emotional connection with the story when they watch a film. The trailer, which released in 3D, has raised the expectations of the audiences. They are now hoping for a huge power-packed action thriller from the film Bholaa.

During the trailer launch of the film, the actor shared if such action could equally impress the family audience. He said that there is more to the movie than just action.

Ajay said, “We cannot show everything in the trailer so it might just come across as if the film has only action. But no, there are multiple tracks and stories within the story. Once the film is released, the audience will understand that. It is true that there is a lot of action in the film but no action can be relatable to the audience without emotion. So, the main focus of the film is driven by emotion. The story is an emotional journey.”

He added, “You see, when you do an action to express some emotion and the audience is engaging with the character, they will root for the character... otherwise action film doesn't work. And I think there is no difference between mass and family audiences as far as emotional connection is concerned. Whether it is the emotion of a father to his child or the emotion between two friends in any part of the world, emotion is always universal.”

The film Bholaa is the remake of Tamil film Kaithi. Karthi played the lead role in the film. Of course, Ajay is playing the titlular role in the Hindi version.

Bholaa also features Tabu, Gajraj Rao, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Vineet Kumar and Kiran Kumar in pivotal roles. Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in a special appearance in the film.

The Ajay Devgn directorial is opting for a theatrical release. It will be available in cinemas on March 30.
