Bholaa Shankar: Chiranjeevi, Keerthy Suresh, Tamannaah shake a leg to Jam Jam Jajjanaka, an energetic dance number

Within six months of his Sankranthi release Waltair Veerayya, Chiranjeevi will have another commercial potboiler hitting screens this August 11 - Bholaa Shankar. This is the Telugu remake of Ajith’s 2015-hit Vedalam, directed by Meher Ramesh. Anil Sunkara is bankrolling the film under AK Entertainments in collaboration with Creative Commercials.

Tamannaah plays Chiranjeevi’s romantic interest in the film while Keerthy Suresh is cast as the latter’s on-screen sister. Sushanth also plays a key role. After packing a punch with the teaser, the first single Bholaa Mania, the makers today unveiled the second single titled Jam Jam Jajjanaka (exactly a month before the film’s theatrical release).

The song is a peppy, celebratory number in the presence of its lead cast. Mahati Swara Sagar is composing the music while Anurag Kulkarni, Mangli have crooned for the number. Kasarla Shyam is the lyricist. The number is likely to appear in the film in the middle of a wedding sequence. The lively cinematography, attractive production design complement the foot-tapping track.

Chiranjeevi, sporting a blue kurta, effortlessly grooves to the opening lines ’Dappesko..Daruvesko..Vavvare Adire Paatesko..Eelesko..Iga Chusko..Eeyala Dancu Iragesko..,’ accompanied by a group of dancers while his co-stars soon join to shake a leg. VJ Sekhar is the choreographer. Singer Anurag has altered his voice well to suit Chiranjeevi’s persona.

Tamannaah, Keerthy Suresh’s dancing skills need no introduction and they are in a joyous mood with their energetic moves. The song picks up momentum when the fast-paced composition gets a folksy twist in the last couple of minutes. Dudley cranked the camera for the film while AS Prakash is the production designer.
