Bholaa Shankar out on OTT: This is where you can stream the Chiranjeevi starrer

Bholaa Shankar is Chiranjeevi's latest release which was directed by Meher Ramesh and Anil Sukara produced the film on a massive scale. The action drama was released on August 11, 2023, on a massive number of screens but ended as a big flop at the box office. 

The film was so bad that it was removed from several screens after the first week of its release which is a rarity for a Chiranjeevi film. We at OTTplay have already reported that the digital rights of the film were bagged by Netflix for Rs 38 crores. The streaming giant locked September 15, 2023, as the OTT release date of the film. 

Well, the Chiranjeevi starrer is now streaming on Netflix. The discussion about this film has once again started as meme creators on social media have got yet another opportunity to troll the film online. Mahati Swara Sagar composed some dull music for this film.

Bholaa Shankar is the official remake of the Ajith starrer Vedhalam and a lot of changes were made for Chiranjeevi in Telugu. But the shoddy narration of Meher Ramesh disappointed the fans big time. Keerthy Suresh and Tamannah played the female leads in this film which also had Rashmi and Sreemukhi in cameos. 

Bholaa Shankar was made on a budget of Rs 90 crores and made close to Rs 40 crores at the box office. Ever since the film flopped, neither Chiranjeevi nor director Meher Ramesh has made a public appearance to date disappointing his fans big time. 

On the other hand, megastar Chiranjeevi has started pre-production of his next film in the direction of Vassisht, who made the hit film Bimbisara with Kalyan Ram. Now that Bholaa Shankar has been released on OTT, we need to see what trolls fest it creates in the days to come. For now, it is streaming on Netflix.
