Chiranjeevi, who began the year on a high with the success of Waltair Veerayya, has wrapped up shooting for Bholaa Shankar recently and is slated to begin filming for Kalyan Krishna's entertainer shortly. The promotional campaign of Bholaa Shankar has begun on a positive note with the encouraging responses for the teaser and the two songs - Jam Jam Jajjanakka, Bholaa Mania. Meher Ramesh is directing the film which has music by Mahati Swara Sagar.
While Bholaa Mania is expected to be an intro song, Jam Jam Jajjanakka was a party number featuring all the lead actors in the film. Milky Beauty, the third single from the film, sung by Vijay Prakash, Sanjana Kalmanje, launched today, has lyrics by Ramajogaiah Sastry. The number is a duet filmed on Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah across multiple international locations. The leisurely paced song has a catchy musical hook and is bolstered by Vijay Prakash's lively rendition.
'Accha Telugu Pachi Mirchi Veedu..Bombatu Ghaatu Hotugunnade..Kallokochesi..Kanne Gundello Soodi Guchi..Pilla Nee Muchatemi Annade..' are the opening lines of the song, which has trendy lyrics aimed at the younger lot. Though it doesn't have the literary value one expects from someone of Ramajogaiah Sastry's calibre, there's not much he could've done to reinvent the wheel in the mainstream space amidst many constraints.
Keerthy Suresh, Sushanth, Tarun Arora, Vennela Kishore, Sri Mukhi, Murali Sharma, Getup Srinu, Shawar Ali, Sitara, Kaasi Viswanadh, Hyper Aadi, Viva Harsha, Brahmaji, Uttej, Satya, Thagubothu Ramesh, Venu, Bithiri Sathi play other key roles in the film produced by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainments. Sekhar master is the sole choreographer for the same while Dudley cranks the camera and Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.
Bholaa Shankar releases in theatres on August 11 and will lock horns with Rajinikanth's Jailer in Telugu. Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of the action entertainer, which is a remake of Ajith's Vedalam, directed by Siva.
